Kudos
Holmes Finch had a paper entitled "Identification of variables associated with group separation in Descriptive Discriminant Analysis:  Comparison of methods for interpreting Structure Coefficient accepted" in The Journal of Experimental Education.  Well Done!

APA Site Visit for School Psychology
I want to thank everyone for your attendance and helpfulness during the APA visit. Penny Nowaczyk, Linda Jones, and all the girls in the front office went above and beyond the duty making sure the site visitors had all their needs meet. While we won't know the final status of our accreditation for sometime I can say the site visitors were very impressed by our graduate students and the productiveness of all our faculty members.  
 
APA Debriefing: School Psychology Core Meeting
The School Psychology Core faculty will meet Wednesday, February 27 from 10:00-11:00am in TC 528 to debrief about the APA visit and plan next steps.  

Advanced Graduate Studies Committee
Advanced Graduate Studies Committee will meet on Wednesday, February 27 from noon – 3:00pm to discuss applicants for the school psychology programs.  Please have your rankings to Barbara Rothlisberg TODAY by 3:00pm.
 
Curriculum Committee Meeting Needed: EDPSY Course Review
We have been tasked by the Provost and Dean Weaver to review all our course offerings and to drop any courses we have not offered regularly.  In particular, any courses we have not offered in the past 3 years need to be reviewed. The Provost has indicated that we have stopped using the criterion of "add one, drop one" when approving new course.  However, the number of new courses exceeds the number of dropped courses by 20%.  He has also indicated we can add to the number of courses but there are not new resources to teach them.  To facilitate this process I have asked Penny to arrange a meeting of the Curriculum Committee.

International Programs Endowment Fund
The deadline for submitting a proposal for the International Programs Endowment Fund is March 14, 2008. Forms are available in the front office.
