Ball State University's Teachers College has an outstanding reputation for producing knowledgeable teachers who are well-prepared for the classroom. Our programs meet the standards of the Indiana Professional Standards Board (IPSB) and are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Students in our teacher education programs are engaged in school classrooms often beginning their first semester. They also participate in community service activities and have access to a wealth of resources and the latest technology.
